Edith dear!  You will always be in our thoughts and evoked with admiration.   I met you while leading WILPF as Secretary General.  In many of the international meetings learned about your traveling, either in fact findings mission, expressing solidarity and networking.  Your ability to speak many languages, to embrace women from the Global South in WILPF, to open your house and find ways to enable participation of women from far away countries with limited resources has been an inspiration and should be a tradition to maintain.  I was privileged to have enjoyed your hospitality and observed your efforts to bring together different people through dialogue.

At the 100th WILPF anniversary the Aletta Jacobs bust was unveiled, afterwards, all around wanted to have pictures with her,  Here some.  Below I can share some, with some of the other leaders of WILPF such as Regina Birchen, some of the Dutch section.  Also myself, ending my presidency of WILPF together with my successor Dr. Kozue Akibayashi.  Also with Krishna Alooja former International president of Wilpf  Edith could enjoy lots of love and admiration for her peace work along the  years.  May we all remain faithful to her example.
